Hand dyed high quality yarn in a tonal deep red colorway, with color shifts from poinsettia red to burgundy. This colorway is less variegated and a bolder red than our Cranberry colorway.

This yarn is hand dyed by me on mulesing-free fine merino superwash wool yarn (or a blend of other fibers, if you choose the sock or lace weight bases!) This yarn is incredibly soft and squishy and is great for close-to-body wear as well as anything else you can dream up! Because of the handmade process, each hank of yarn is one of a kind.

Please expect some variation from skein to skein, even from the same dye lot. This is what makes hand dyed yarn so wonderfully unique!

If making a project that requires multiple skeins of the same color yarn, it is recommended to alternate skeins every other row of knitting to minimize any differences between skeins.

Though I do my best to take accurate photos, color and intensity of the yarn may vary with your monitor settings.

Dyelots: Please be sure to purchase all the yarn you need for your project in one order. My typical dyelots are 8-12 skeins. I will always match dyelots when filling an order for multiple skeins of the same color. However, if you don’t order all you need at once, I can’t guarantee that I will have more of the same dyelot available later should you need more yarn.

Winding the Yarn: This yarn is prepared as a twisted hank and will need to be wound into a ball or cake before it can be used. Be sure to purchase winding service if you'd like us to wind the yarn for you! Winding service can be purchased here.

"Spin" Worsted Superwash Fine Merino: 100% Fine (21 micron) Superwash Merino Wool; 100g, 219 yards. 100% merino makes this yarn incredibly squishy and soft!

“Zephyr” Sock/Fingering Weight: 75% Fine Superwash Merino, 25% nylon; 100g, 437 yards. Tightly plied and with nylon for strength, this yarn is durable enough for socks yet incredibly soft and also great for close-to-body wear.

“Drift” 3-ply Bulky: 100% Fine Superwash Merino; 100g, 105 yards. Round, defined plies make this yarn work up quickly for thick and squishy projects of your dreams.

“Whisper” Cashmere-Merino DK: 80% Extra Fine (19 micron) Superwash Merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon; 100g, 246 yards. Incredibly soft and squishy, amazing for close-to-body wear.

“Lustre” Yak-Silk Fingering: 80% Extra Fine Merino (19 micron), 10% yak hair, 10% silk; 100g, 437 yards. More delicate than our Zephyr sock yarn, this has lovely drape, sheen, and warmth.

”Mirage” Mulberry Silk/Merino Fingering:50% Mulberry Silk, 50% Fine Superwash Merino Wool; 100g, 437 yards. Shiny, smooth, and a bit cool to the touch, this yarn feels lightweight and would be great for warm weather wear. The wool content makes it easier to work with than 100% silk and yet it still has a great drape and shine.

“Mezzo” Cotton-Wool DK: 50% Fine Superwash Merino Wool, 50% Pima Cotton; 100g, 246 yards. A great option for warm weather wear, the cotton gives the yarn a cool hand while the wool content helps provide bounce and resilience.

"Halo" Lace Weight: 72% Kid Mohair, 28% Mulberry Silk; 50g, 459 yards. Mohair spun with a core of mulberry silk. Excellent when held double with another of our yarns. This is a non-superwash base, please be sure to hand wash and dry.

"Spin" Merino DK MINI: 100% Fine Merino (21 micron) superwash wool; 20 grams, 49 yards. A mini skein of our Spin DK base.
